TITLE:
DESCRIPTION: John Leech (18171864), friend of Dickens, a humerous artist who contributed to the early issues of Punch. This plaque, paid for by a television company, contains what is now the only mention of Charles Dickens to be found in the City, as DickensÕ own plaque was lost in the fire which destroyed the Bedford Hotel in 1964.
