TITLE:
DESCRIPTION: This is No.20b.Middle Street, where WILLIAM FRIESE-GREENE (1855-1921) carried out
cinematographically experiments in the back garden. His handsome plaque is by the bay window. It was unveiled in 1951 during the Festival of Britain to coincide with the release of the film ÔThe Magic BoxÕ starring Robert Donat as William Friese-Greene.
